Made of high-purity polypropylene material, with high chemical stability. Our well plates are suitable for multichannel pipettes and automatic equipment. It can be sealed with an adhesive film, heat-sealed or used with an autoclaved sterilized deep-well plate cover (autoclaved 121°C, 20 minutes).

What is a Well Plate

Well plates have several named variants, including microplate, microwells, microtiter, and multiwell plates.The well plate is a flat plate that looks like a tray with multiple wells used as small test tubes. The 96-well format is most commonly used well format, some of the other sizes, far less common, available are 6, 24, 3456, and 9600 wells. 

Classification of Well plate

  • according to the number of holes, the more common can be divided into 96-well plate, 384-well plate.
  • according to the classification of hole type, 96-well plate can be mainly divided into round hole type and square hole type. Among them, all 384-well plates are square hole type.
  • according to the shape of the bottom of the hole classification, common mainly U-shaped and V-shaped two.
